so i had a western digital "my book" external hard drive 500 gbs. i stored alot of movies and music and backups on it and hten one day she just would communicate with the computer anymore. after numerous attempts of geting to work breifly then dying on me i gave up and took the hard drive out of the case and plugged it into my mobo. after a memory diagnostic i got it to recognize and work! i formatted and puit the data back on and it was working fine until suddenly it went out in the middle of a song. since then cant get it to work i was even getting a BSOD when i tried restarting sometimes.
is there anyway of getting this thing back up or is it dead for good? i just wanted to save on buying a new hdd but if i gotta then i gotta
