Hard drive error ??

Hi all ok now got big problems
Getting annoying pop up saying

Hard drive failure

The system has detected a problem with one or more installed IDE/SATA hard disks.
It is recommened that u restart system.

Iv tried reboot pc but it keeps apearing again.

Also get another error pop up saying

Critical error

Ram too high damaged hard drive clusters detected private data is at risk.

Help :( wats goin on ????

If the hard drive is bad , there is not much you can do but get a new one. If you cant test it yourself have a friend help you.

    Weakest part of my computer is the graphics chipset. Only ever used a laptop. Also use USB Freeview TV Card Lenovo Docking Station External Speakers Other bits a pieces as needed
dam have to pay lol
just got into my pc and its strange loads of the errors have gone but now loads of data has been wiped out. alot of pc folders gone i.e the system32 folder in c windows etc. need to some how restore my acer pc back to orignal settings . prob is i cant find the cd that come with my pc. im thinking going to pc world let them reboot it all together ;( ?

i did the following
Restart the Acer computer.

Press "Alt" and "F10" at the same time to launch the recovery program.

Type in "000000" as the security code and press "Enter."

Select the Vista operating system and press "Enter" to recover the system.


but where do u select the vista os ? i just put in 000000 then enter then it ony restarted the pc didnt do anything else.

Its acer. Omg jus rebooted this time and its doing the acer recovery where all data will be put back to factory condish. Its in the acer eRecovery management screen doing its stuff

Yup. Sounds like it's totally failing based on how many issues you're having. I'd offer to use Teamviewer to "log on" and check it out for you, but it seems pretty useless at this point, and I doubt you'd even be able to install it. Hard drives are pretty cheap (you can grab a 1 terabyte drive for 100 bucks on eBay; less memory = less cost). I'd just do that because it doesn't sound like you're going to be able to recover yours. Nothing you can do if it's failing. Sorry about that.
