Installed Windows 7 on my PC and whilst I like the OS , and will be upgrading once the retail version is out, I decided to go back to Vista ...(The Beta will just stop working on a particular date right??).
Anyway tried to install Vista this morning. I get halfway through the Windows is loading files then I get this message:
Windows cannot communicate with a device connected to your computer.
This error can be caused by unplugging a removable storage device such as an external USB drive while this device is in use , or by faulty hardware such as a hard drive or CD-ROM that is faulty. Make sure any removable storage is properly connected and then restart your computer.
Tried loading from both CD drives. Disconnected all unnecessary hardware.Still get the same message. Windows 7 installed fine yesterday morning.Any ideas?
