Gloves That Will Work Against Electrical Shocks

I believe there are gloves that are safe to use when handling with any kind of cables such as coaxial cables, power cables and so on.

However I'm not so sure about the following two types. I have a pair of latex gloves and vinyl gloves.

Would these generally be safe against electrical shocks from a power outlet (like duplex receptacle outlets)?

And what about against coaxial outlets? I noticed there could be slight sparks coming from those sometimes when connecting them to coaxial cables.

Thank you so much for your help.

Hi Wandering Flame,

I know that there are latex electrical gloves that are resistant to strong currents.

I do not know about vinyl though...

However, now that I think about it, thos elatex gloves may have been rubber insulated.

I will try to do some research on this, as I Google'd it right now, and there weren't many results.

Thanks I always google stuff before I make threads about them too.

And I found a forum topic with someone saying latex as well as vinyl does not conduct electricity. I just googled "vinyl latex conduct electricity" and it was like the first or second result.

Either way I'm calling Home Depot and/or Lowe's and asking if they have a pair.

Yeah, I guess calling Home Depot or Lowe's would probably be the best thing to do.
