Gigabyte GA-K8U MOBO: Is it compatible?

I've been running XP 64bit for a number of years now with no issues. I run Vista 64 bit on my laptop, and wanted to run it on my desktop as well, but I can't find the right SATA DRIVERS!!! Vista install calls for third party sata drivers on install, but the xp 64bit drivers are not recognized. NVidia has a new "unified" ULI driver file, but it is an auto-execute file designed to install the drivers on a running system, not during a boot installation! I don't know how to extract the correct drivers from the zip file -- does anyone know where the SATA drivers alone for Vista 64bit can be had??? Despite MS givning me the go-ahead as far as compatibility, now it seems maybe the MOBO won;t run Vista -- anyone got any ideas?????
