Gigabyte Dynamic Energy saver

hi i am new to this site.

for some reason my GIGABYTE energy saver is clashing with either a power problem or an anti virus program. because when i go to shut my computer down, it hangs. is there anyway i can fix this?


and all so a problem with the sleep function, when i put my computer to sleep, say 1 hour or 5 mins, i get a BSOD stop screen and mem dump and have to restart my computer. i like using the energy saver....but i dont have it installed at the moment

Do you have the latest version installed?

GIGABYTE - Support&Download - Motherboard - Utility - GA-EP43-DS3 (rev. 1.0)

Along with the latest BIOS and chipset driver?


This may help, but I never found it to be reliable enough to leave installed for me either though.

its a driver issue mate , at least it was with me got alot of driver power state failiure blue screens when i was trying the beta version , im assuming they still aint fixed it Id leave the software alone tbh its not worth the hassle
