Getting Your Head Around 1 Trillion

Ever try to get your head around the figure, "One Trillion"?

One Trillion has Twelve Zeroes after it, as thus: 1,000,000,000,000

Now,let us imagine how long One Trillion Seconds really is:
1 Hour= 3600 seconds
1 Day= 86,400 seconds
1 Year= 31,536,000 seconds
1,000,000,000,000 Divided by 31,536,000 Seconds (in 1-year)= 31,709.79 Years

Let's carry this another step farther, and say that you owe a bill for $1,000,000,000,000.00
And, you have the stack of $100.00 bills to pay it, all you have to do is count it out.
A fair figure I think for accurate counting would be one bill per second... So sit down to count
out the money, 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. How long is it going to take you?

...Let's see now;
$100.00 X 31,536,000 Seconds (1 Years worth of counting)= $3,153,600,000.00
(That's "just" 3 Billion+ as it only has 9 zeroes) So, let's finish what we started;

$3,153,600,000.00 goes into $1,000,000,000,000.00 317.0979 times.

It would take you over 317 YEARS to count out the $100.00 bills to pay your $1 Trillion Dollar debt
counting non-stop!

Entertain this thought:

If this Gentleman currently occupying the White House was limited to spend only the actual money
he could count out (calculated in the same manner) during his elected term in office, it would be:

[1 Year] 31,536,000 seconds (X) 4 [-year term]= 126,144,000 seconds (X) $100.00= $12,614,400,000.00
That is 12 Billion, 614 Million, 400 Thousand Dollars; it is $987,385,600,000.00 SHORT of the current

i think that you need to use one of these:
Currency_Counting_Machine.jpg

or hire several guys at once with several of these each to count out money for you, and just add the numbers from each guy at the end of the day.

Even better: After reading this post about how damn much a Trillion really is, try to imagine that even Trillions of stars are just a very very very veeery small percentage (far below 0.1%) of the amount of stars there is in space.

That's braincracking!

These idiots are going to print that "trillion" and our currency will be worth nothing. We will all be using "credits" to buy food. Get ammo now! You'll be able to use it for currency. I just hope the internet stays up. LOL I really do! That would be the worst thing ever. In hope they put some of the trillion into beefing up the infrastructure of the net.

Sorry to say it, but my best guess would be 'beefing up' or even allowing unrestricted use (as now, more or less) of the internet would not serve to further the agenda of "dumbing-down" Americans. Let's face it, it is harder to slip things past people who are wise to just what they are up to! And what a better way to pass along information than the internet? The Chinese government figured that out post-haste.

The administration current in control here would rather we were kept uninformed while they silently 'rob' us...

..Probably wise to be sure you have a computer designed to play old DVD's on your monitor after the internet is censored :confused:

You are right. Some radio programs and internet sites are going to be gone so we should enjoy the golden years right now. The "big government" is here to stay. The last thing they want is people thinking for themselves or hearing the truth. They need us to be dependent on them. This get me worked up, I had better quit thinking about it. VOTE LIBERTARIAN from now on and we may stop this in time. Nate's thoughts....
