GeForce 9800GT Drivers not being recognized on 64 bit!

Hello,

I just recently purchased this PC and am unable to get the drivers working for my video card.. When I check Device Manager, it says:

"Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)
Click 'Check for solutions' to send data about this device to Microsoft and to see if there is a solution available."

I've tried installing them from the CD that was provided, even installing the latest drivers from the Nvidia website. I'm seriously stuck!

Also, when the machine is booting up, the visual effects go all crazy while loading the PC and it looks like a whole bunch of discolored pixelized lines all over the place.

Any help would be most appreciated! Thank you!

My main rig runs Vista Ultimate or Server 2008. Depending on which Acronis image I decide to load.
Make sure the graphic card is seated properly into the motherboard before going through an RMA process.

Well, after calling Tech Support and taking a look myself. It is indeed the Video Card that is dead. After reseating it, it doesn't even show a screen. Guess I'll start the RMA process.

Thank you all for your help!
