Gateway FX4710: Blue Screens Galore

Hi, I have been having tons of blue screens. Every time I contact Gateway about it I get the same answer to take the comp back to factory default. Its solving nothing. Honestly I am about the dropkick the computer out the window.

About 4 Days ago I took it to factory standards and did the full windows update, there are no more updates. Ran fine for 1 day then the next 3 I have got 15 blue screens. The blue screens I have been getting are usually: -

Driver_Irql_Not_less_or_Equal Stop: 0x000000D1 -
Nvlddmkm.sys- Address FFFFFA60027C9E35 -
System_Service_Exception 0x00000000C0000005 0xFFFFF80001F7F4BB 0xFFFFFA60090E6790 -
Win32k.sys Stop ends in 050 -eectrl64.sys stop ends D3 -
PFN List Corrupt Stop ends 4E -Page Fault in Non Page Area -No Description, Stop ended in 1E -Srtsp.sys
System Service Exception -Ntfs.sys -IRQL Not Less or Equal with Stop ending in 0A -Page Fault in Non Paged Area Stop ending in 050 -
System Service Exception Stop ending in 3B -
Win32k.sys Stop ending in 01E -
Registry Error Stop Ending in 051

These are just some of the errors I was able to write down. My comp is Gateway FX4710. Its out of warranty so my basic question: Is my problem fixable or should I just look at getting a new comp. To be honest, all I want to do is play Star Wars Galaxies.

I popped the case open and the video card was super hot. Doesn't look like its getting an air circulation at all. I just left the door off and put a small fan next to it when its on. Seems to work, longest I have gone without a blue screen. I will try and upload the dump files after I get back from the Doctor today. Thanks for the replies

I know im late on this thread and i don't care. If the card is still running hot, The Gateway FX 4710 came with a junk PSU(power supply) I changes my PSU to a 650watt off of newegg and it has been working fine ever since. I cooked one Nvidia 9800gt card to death.(If you cheap out on a good PSU it might cheap out on you.)

Thank-you. I figured it out over the weekend. It was not a heat problem at all. Symantec anti-virus somehow became corrupted and was crashing the computer. Disabled the Symantec service in msconfig from safe mode and that fixed it. Since uninstalled Symantec and running Microsoft Security Essentials instead. Computer runs much better without Symantec.
