Fried PSU or Mobo or just missing something?

I transferred my old ECS P4VXASD2+ and old power supply (not sure what brand, doesn't say on the label and i'm sure it's at least 500w) to an old case but when i moved everything over and tried to start the system the fans would run and the Power LED on the case and hard drive LED light but no video

did i kill my power supply or motherboard?

I would poke around the video card first. See if it is seated good, check connector to monitor etc. You might just check all cards connectors etc.

Do you have a motherboard speaker hooked up? If so did you get any beeps?

If the PSU or Motherboard are not working then it (should) not start. The PSU has to issue a power good signal to the CPU for the board to start, it is part of the POST. Do as said above and check the video.
Also check the BIOS to see if onboard video is enabled if it is present on your motherboard.
Try pressing the reset key.
Unasemble everything and Connect just 1 stick of ram, the video and CPU and PSU and see if it works. (Start from the ground up with diag).
