hi , I have the same problem. After virus atack i was not able to se any folders in C drive but after i restore the older version . run the malware scan and microsoft essential full scan. but unable to see some of the folders. Some were showing as hidden but after removign hidden option on some folders it does not show 90% of the folders which were i nthe same location. 2 folders out of 20 folders are showing up.. Idont know what should i do to get the folders back..

It is always a good idea to not use any of your restore points after you have been infected as there is a very good possibility you would reinfect your system again, so you delete the old ones and start new restore points.
