Flavius, I followed your directions and need help afterwards

Thank you for being an expert in Vista. I downloaded the wmidiag.zip, and Winzip, of which i own a copy, would not extract it into the system32 directory, so I extracted it outside of the windows folder, and copied it in with no problems.

Then I ran it, and attached is the output. I do not know from where to get a copy of the missing files which need to be replaced. can you help me with that?

I have uploaded the output, can you also help interpret it for me?

Log report you have wrong settings Windows Menagement Instrumentation service,you have this service to set to MANUAL,but you should set it to AUTOMATIC.You can correct it in many ways i.e go to Start>>Search>>services.msc,find Windows Menagement Instrumentation service,set it to AUTOMATIC start and then start this service manually.

Yeah, that one was simple, I think though, instead of more trobuleshooting, I am just going to wipe Vista x64 clean and load windows 7.
