file tracer?

Hey everyone,
At my school a document appeared on my student drive on the network. I have never seen this file before and it is bad enough to get me expelled. Does anyone know of any software to trace the origions of this file? For ex. It was off a thumb drive or it was transferred over the network. I really need help on this one guys.

I already proved my innocents. They pulled up my action scrpit from the day it appeared and someone transfered the file onto my computer when i steped out of the room for a minute. Lesson learned, always lock your computer!
