The typical answer for this is either:
1) Go into the Default Programs feature (in the Control Panel) and "Associate a File Type or Protocol with a Program.
Or
2) Right click > Open with... > choose the default program and click the box to do it "always".
Unfortunately, this is not working. I have AutoCAD on my computer now and I cannot associate the .dwg files with AutoCAD. Then I recently downloaded an Atari emulator and none of the game's .a26 files will map to the emulator.
What am I to do? This is much more than a know-nothing end user.
