I don't think you can get it for free, yet?

Do you have a modem installed in your computer? If so, there is software you can have to fax from a printer service/ printer.

so i wouldnt b able to fax with my laptop alone, I have a digital phone line, its a black little box with flashing lights and it connects to the cable that provides the cable tv. My laptop is a Dell Latitude D630c.. I opened up Device Manager went to modems it has this under it --> In-Build type 2 conexant modem.

What specific advice regarding the device, software etc. are we we be able to give you fro mthe information you have provided?

It looks nice but it doesn't work?

Therefore we need more specific information to your system (SP1, 2) windows vista home basic, premium or ultimate etc.

Are you trying to fax via a modem connector on your optical "DSL" router?

windows vista home basic sp2 , its broadband(TIME WANRNER CABLE) the phone connects to it, the modem connects to the white cable. im trying to fax using only the laptop and if i need the modem then that as well.
