Favorites IE and Cool Folder

i have 2 questions to asks all of u guys

first i need to remove this:

and the second, how can i make a new folder just like these circled folders:

any help would be appreciated and, of course,

Q1) I'm not sure how or if you can remove Favorites at that location.

Q2) You can just create a new folder, then change the folder icon to be one of those. Those folder icons are located in the C:\Windows\System32\imageres.dll file.

hi brink, and thanks for the reply

for the folder, this folder has a tab that common folder doesn't. look at this:

this folder has " location " tab. i wonder if i accidentally delete this and i cant make a new one, then the folder will gone forever

For user folders you can use OPTION TWO below (same in Vista) to change the icons for them, but you cannot change the Desktop and Contacts folder icon though.
