In the current version of the Problem Solving Flow Chart, the link shown as;
Can you blame someone else?---------->No---------->You poor bastard.,
is inherently flawed in that the subject is forced to admit personal deficiencies, without recourse to deflecting those negative characteristics on to some other weaker and less defensive character.
The desireable course is to always have someone else in mind, upon whom one can unload the crap.....The 'maybe' factor. Now, where a 'No' answer will always draw a negative conclusion resulting in an admission of fault or guilt, the 'maybe' factor gives one a more positive conclusion which removes all such admissions of potential failings.
I therefore submit the following as PSFC Update Version 1.01;
PSFC Update Version 1.01 - Explanatory Note.
This version introduces the 'Maybe' factor, which ultimately leaves the subject appearing to be without flaws and in a defensively positive state.
So, the flow chart would appear thus [new flow link-line in Blue];
You poor bastard<-----No----Can you blame someone else?-----MAYBE!------->Pass the Buck.
There! That's so much better, isn't it?:D
