Hi,
I need your help to determine my inability to connect to the internet.
I have a wireless router, two desktop nodes and a new laptop. My HP Pavilion dv7-1260 laptop came installed with Vista Home Premium 64 and it had no internet problems until I updated to Vista Ultimate 64. After the update I can't connect to the internet. I can't get my network adapter to turn on. In 'device manager' the internet adapter is reported as working properly and the proper drivers are installed.
This particular laptop has touch-sensitive on/off controls for volume, speakers, and the internet adapter.
When I had the Home Premium Os installed I could connect/disconnect from the Internet with the switch on the keyboard. After the Vista Ultimate install, I can't enable the InterNet adapter from the keyboard or the connection wizard. Now here's where my question arises. How do I enable the adapter and/or an internet connection?
Thanks,
MJ
