Explorer.exe taskbar restarts

Hello, lately I been having my taskbar restart when I open something like a folder or program and I get a message saying explorer has to restart. Any ideas on why its doing this and how to fix it?

Try running a scan first from your antivirus app, then a scan from Malwarebytes:

www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php

If that doesn't fix it run the System File Checker from an elevated command prompt:

sfc /scannow

with a vista disc on hand.

Kaspersky wont let me install its saying its trying to put a driver in a suspicious area...

Make sure you downloaded the installer, disconnect from the internet, right-click the kaspersky icon in the taskbar and close or disable it. Just don't choose an option to diable permanently. Then, install malwarebytes. Vista should present a UAC confirmation. Accept. Scan, then reboot to re-enable Kaspersky, and reconnect to the internet.

Well ran the app and it found 3. Cleaned and so far it hasnt restarted the taskbar. So far so good!
