Explorer.exe Not doing the right thing...

So, just a day, my computer would restart fine, explorer.exe starting up my desktop and whatnot, then, today, my computer screws up, and when i start it up, its black screen with "MY COMPUTER" window up. Task manager: i end the explorer.exe process, and restart it, and it still just opens up the my computer window. HALP?!?!
