excessive graphics lag

hi again,

I'm having some graphics lag issues, and its never happened before until I installed and subsequently rolled back the new graphics drivers i downloaded. I noticed there was lag when I watched videos online, where I used to have no lag at all. Also, whatever was happening was also taxing my processor pretty bad. When I checked my processes, I found an instance of rundll32.exe that had some command like this:

C:\Windows\system32\rundll32.exe C:\Windows\system32\NVSVC64.DLL,nvsvcInitialize

and its taking up about 30% to 45% of my processing power. is there a way to slow this down and stop the lag?

I would definitely install the latest driver. Should fix the problem.

look at your startup items in system configuration

(start , all programs , accesories , run and type msconfig and hit return)

in there youll find a "nvidia compatible display driver" entry if you look ast the command you'll see its NVSVC64.DLL , disable that startup item and reboot , see if it solves the issue , i have never let this startuip item run and have never had any issues ingame or otherwise so its safe to disable
