Error when restarting PC usbhub.sys

First of all I want to say hi to everyone. I am new here and I'm hoping I may get some help with a problem I've been having for some months.

BTW moderators I hope I'm posting this in the right place, my apologize if I'm doing something wrong, guidance is appreciated.

I'm not a computer geek only a user. When I restart my PC I keep getting this blue screen. I took a picture of it and copied this:

STOP: 0x0000007E (0xC0000005, 0x8F22D013, 0x803CCB68, 0x803CC864
usbhub.sys - Address 8F22D0 base 8F20F000, DateStamp 49e01fe2

It also states something about dump and a countdown of numbers start until it does reboot. Someone told me this was a problem with a hub I had but I have never connect a usb hub.

At the top of this forum last week there was a Ad from Registry Booster that sold thier product as being able to solve this problem (usbhub.sys) but it did not do anything; I still get the same result of this screen.

I don't know if this has anything to do with me not being able to use my USB flash anymore or my photoshop not able to read my SD card etc.

I have read, read and read but can't seem to find anything or understand this problem. I will apprecaite it very much if I can get any type of direction in how to solve this problem.

Here's my system specs:

Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit
AMD Dual Core 2.10 GHz BE-2350
2.0 GB memory

Thanks for reading!

Chk this out: http://www.vistax64.com/general-discussion/170729-vista-bsod-usbhub-sys-shutdown.html

Its another post from someone who had the same problem. Does the BSOD happen when you have something connected to your usb drives?

Thanks Katokato for your post, I do not have a USB Hub. My PC has 2 USB input in the back, which I use one for the printer and the other for an extra RW DVD drive. In the front of my PC I have 5 USB input and 4 other SD, MMC etc memory card input slots. The only things that I might plug into the front USBs would be my Cell, download camera pics, flash drives, etc.

Hope this helps, its very frustrating. THANKS for your interest.
