Error message when I use IE8

Could someone please tell me what this error message mean and how do I fix this, I have installed IE8 today but its not opening any links and I am unable to view pages within web pages.

Thank you mansrm81, I tried your suggestion but it didn't solve my problem. I am able to switch from sevenforums to vistax64 but unable to switch from vistax64 to sevenforums. Capture1.JPG

Whenever I open a link all I see "connecting" in the new tab.
