End process?

I've been working with a new audio recorder program and after working with it I close it down. When I attempt to open it up later it will not open.

I started checking and saw that under the Processes Tab on Task Manager it was there. So not knowing what else to do I ended the process. Then the program opens as usual.

Can anyone explain this? Why would the program still remain there and NOT appear under any other tabs such as Services?

How can I fix this so that I don't have to repeat this each time I want to use the program?

Thanks.

when you close the program, does it minimize to the system tray instead of actually closing?

No, I did look at that the first time it happened and didn't see anything. The second and third times I went right to Task Manager.

I also checked the Options in the program to see if there was anything that needed to be unchecked.

I will double check again just in case I missed the Systray thing.

Thanks.

Unless this would cause a lot of work for you, one way to try to fix the problem could be to uninstall it and then reinstall again. If the problem still remains, it sounds like a support case for the supplier of the program.

I could and may have to do that but I haven't had much luck trying to get a little support on actually using the program. It was supposed to capture any music that came through my speakers and Internet Radio. Figured out the radio part and am hung up on the other music.

Thanks.
