Emergency Boot CD

Hi,
My Vista crashed.
I am looking for a bootable cd which will give me access on the hdd.
Also which can perform a system restore to an earlier date.
Any advice please.

It depence what exactly you want - if you want use remote System Restore and you don't have Vista DVD you need special recovery disk

If you want browse hdd or any diagnose the better way will be use any liveCD linux
for example MEPIS

O.k Thanks for your reply Flavius. Actually my aim is to try to browse the hdd,diagnose and run checkdisk and also see if it is possible to restore the system to an earlier date.

I would recommend Microsoft Diagnostics and Recovery Toolkit (formerly known as ERD commander), grate boot-cd.
