Edge of screen not displaying

The problem I am having is when i enable my graphics card (geforce 9800 GTX) the edges of the display go out of viewing. I have tried using vista and nvidia drivers, either way once the graphic card is enabled with drivers the format changes and the edges of the display go out of screen. I am still able to click on the task bar and other windows when they are out of screen, because my mouse will also go out of screen to reach them.
If i disable my graphics card, the viewing area is fine.

Use the buttons on your monitor to either auto-adjust the size or do it yourself manually, Its just the settings being used by your monitor and nothing todo with your graphics card or Vista.

It might, actually, have to do with your display settings if you have a widescreen monitor. Some are 16:9, and others are 16:10. If you've got the wrong one, you can have issues. Check that, too.

I have tried the manual adjust on the moniter, i only have 16:9 or Full, both give the same results.
On the resolution side, all settings put my display out of the viewing area except 1920 by 1080, but this resolution leaves about 3 inches of blank screen on each side (top, bottom, left and right).
I have a feeling it has to do with the resolution, but not sure where to find it or how to fix it. Also when it set to 1920 by 1080 the screen becomes blury and lettering or numbers on web pages shrink as it reaches the middle of the screen.
Also thanks for the replys

Just figured how to fix it, in the nvidia controls, i started messing around and it gave me the option to manually set the display borders. But all the lettering still has a blurry look to it
