Sometimes my computer can see my dvd drive and sometimes it can't. Any thoughts. I already tried the registry thing where you delete the lowfilter. when i went in there there wasn't a low or highfilter reg. to delete. Thanks for any help.
:D if u found that there was no upper or no lower filter then u need to reseat the cd/dvd drive (take the cd drive out and then put it back to the computer)and if still if it does not work then u need to do the recovery and has to set it to the factory settings still if it does not work then talk to the hardware manufacturer and let them know al the steps that u have done and i can :D bet u they will replace the cd/dvd drive if the computer is in waranty as it is simply a hardware issue (its for the laptop)
It's a lap top. It's done this for awhile now. Like it was there earlier today and now it's not. Sometimes it's there sometimes it's not. When it's there it works perfectly.
