Dual Monitors

Gentlemen,

I'm running Windows Vista 32 bit Home blah, blah, blah, with a NVIDIA GEForce 6150 graphics card.

I have 2 monitors, but believe I need to purchase another video/graphics card.

Anyone smarter than me out there (that was meant to be self depricating), that could recommend a plain jain, cheap graphics card so I can hook up my second monitor? I'm not into gaming, just love having two monitors at work, and once you have two, you can't handle one, right?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You can probably find something locally, but even with shipping you will probably be hard pressed to find one as cheap as that one at Newegg.

Hello and thanks again for the suggestion to the ASUS video driver. I've installed it, I believe successfully, but can ony get one monitor to function (i.e. I've swapped both monitors to both video ports ont he card.) With Window's XP, a guy would just go to Control Panel - Display, and walk himself throught he dual monitor setup.

You time to help a guy with what software I'm to interface with to enable dual monitors with my Vista 32 operating system?

When you installed the drivers it should have also installed the Catalyst Control Center (CCC), which is what is used for setting up the card. If it did right click on an open spot on the desktop and select CCC from the menu. Once there the part you want is here,

If both displays are showing it is just a matter of right clicking on the second display and choosing Clone (same on both screens) or Extended (each different) mode; selecting the resolution if not correct (native resolution for LCD's for example) and refresh rate). Hitting F1 while on that screen will open a fairly easy to follow help section on the various settings and what they do.
