if one dual boots vista with win7 which is installed later, can the boot order be changed, to boot into one or the other? & where is the place to change things.

Just type in msconfig in the search bar.
Click on the boot tab.
Choose which OS you want to be default.
You can also change the startup OS wait time to a shorter time.
