Dual Boot Help

I have windows vista home premium installed on 1 hdd and xp pro installed on second hard drive. How do I create dual boot

hello drumstik59,
You have installed one of the operating system through the another or you have installed it through booting.? if you have installed the on the hdd's individually ( by removing one hdd) the you cant have dual boot. You should install it while using another OS. (Eg. From ur vista screen put the xp CD in and install. OR vise versa.)

If you installed XP second, then you may be able to pick up at step 7 in METHOD TWO of the tutorial below to do so.

I tried this but now get message that ntdlr is missing on xp drive. How can i repair this

If you are still able to boot from Vista, then I would copy anything that you did not want to lose from the XP drive from within Vista and reinstall XP as in METHOD TWO of the tutorial above.
