Solved Downloading while Partitioning

I have one drive which I want to partition. Can I partition while I am downloading things? Or should I stop all activity while the partitioning is taking place?

Hi and welcome

You cant download to the partition you are making. You can download to another partition on the drive but it is certainly not recommemded. the partitioning is going to create a lot of disk activity, as will the doqnload. partitioning shouldn't take very lon so I would wait
