download problem

all of a sudden when I download an app., updates for certain apps., or any thing else for that matter. I have to manually go find it and install it. Where as before it would automatically do what it supposed to do. What happened? I cant figure it out.

What are you trying to update.
Are you talking about windows update

I downloaded a couple of programs...trial version of nero 9 and an update for my lightscribe...1.14.14.1 to 1.14.32.1. I had to find them where I keep all my downloads and manually run them, where as before the programs would automatically run and install.
