download a wallpaper and then can't get rod of it

HI it's j62, I downloaded an Elvis Presley wall paper yesterday, but decide I liked the one I had before, can someone let me know how to remove it first of all, I've gone into contol panel, then in to desktop pictures, my picture that I want is on my memory stick so I opened the folder that I need, clicked ok for the picture I want but nothing, all I get is the colour black!!!, HELP, j62

right click on picture you want and choose "set as background"....that should do it!!
