Do not want inprivate browsing option

Hello, I would like to eliminate the inprivate browsing option on our pc. I am using windows vista. we do not want this option could some one please direct me on how to do this.

I don't think you can remove this option, I don't see the problem anyways ...

If what Tstright said is what you are wanting, then you can setup a standard user account for a user you want this done for and use Parental Controls on the account. This way you can restrict the account and turn on the Activity Report to have a log of all the account's activity.

My partner is a recovering porn addict, this option on the new IE8 will undoubtedly send him right back to square one! This is an increasing problem in many relationships, and quite probably the end of mine! Any help to eliminate the inprivate browsing on my new pc would be more than welcome!

Hello Shazzer,

You can setup a standard user account for him to use instead of a administrator account, and turn on Parental Controls on the account. This way you can restrict the account using the web filter and turn on the Activity Report to have a log of all the account's activity.
