Do I need to do anything special after V 64 is installed?
Pain In The Butt
Power User
I have found all the 64 bit drivers that I need for all my components and all 64 bit software and have it ready when I install V64 on my new build. Is there anything special that I am going to need to do during install or after install that isn't in the norm when it comes to installation???

Well, I have 4gb of ram. Maybe I should install only 2gb just to make sure. Also, why is this happening?

Most boards are fine, just load it up with all the ram in and if you run into any problems just knock it down to 2gig.
As for why it does it, its just a bug

This thread has been most helpful. Thank you all!
ingeborgdot the donate button is at the very top of this window. I too am thinking of donationing as a holiday gift.
Raj
the patch is already on the sp1 beta if any of u guys are trying it...also you can lower the RAM bus speeds and the setup should work just fine...this way you dont have to open your computer up and remove and reinstall the ram
hope this helps
