Hello everyone,
I know we all love a challenge, and I want to know if this is one, or something that can be done quite easily. My Computer Engineering company is planning to market something called "deviceshield" (This is just one instance of what my company does - mainly we outsource network engineers) Before we take the final plunge and become the middle-man for this software, I am asking if you guys knew any ways to bypass this technology providing the user did not have the domain admin password or know how to access the local admin account.
For those that dont know how device shield works, its primary use is to install on a domain server so that all users cannot plug their USB's, external devices etc. to steal company files or infect the network. more info here
We have tried various techniques, but if this is something simple or even something that a semi-advanced user could bypass we need to know before we start marketing this product to our clients
Thanking you,
Alex
