Desktop Icons rearrange.

Hi All. When my laptop wakes up from stand by mode...all my icons are every where,and I have to rearrange them again....
Any advice is appreciated.
(BTW..I have Vista home/Pre.SP1..IE7)

Hello tek101.

Welcome to the forums.

I've been using a program called remember icon layout. Don't remember the URL, but a google search should find it. Basically it is a .dll file and a .reg file that places save layout and restore layout menu items on the right click of recycle bin and computer.

Do you have SP1 installed? I still have the problem on occasion, but it is not nearly so often as before I installed SP1.

Hopefully there'll be a fix in SP2. We can only keep fingers crossed.

I know iconoid and ultramon save your icon layout.

Hi Gary. I do have SP1 installed.
I had a I/chat with Sony tech/suport and He gave a link to 1 update for graphic card (From MS)which I did install last month and "1 from sony itself."
So far so good.....Like you said ..I still have my fingers crossed.
