Hi,
I am having problems getting rid of this weird bar-like thing with 5 icons
on my desktop. (I don't know what it's called.)
It is situated at the bottom middle of the desktop, just above the task bar,
and I can't move it.
Right clicking doesn't do/show anything.
It has 5 box spaces (to store 5 icons).
It can be made smaller by clicking the little box (with a little minus '-' sign in it)
at the top right corner, and can be moved around. At the moment it contains
5 links to things like "computer", "lock the computer", "windows meeting space",
etc.
Thing is, this bar is not useful for me, it's just getting in my way, I want
to get rid of it, but I absolutely can't!
I have to say that I know very little about computers, yet I really tried to
google it for some information about this strange bar thing, but couldn't
find much information about it.
This thing has been there ever since I first started using the laptop (VAIO).
I bought the laptop a month ago from a very reputable place, and
I haven't installed anything strange!
Does anyone know what I'm talking about? and/or know how to get rid of it?
It's windows vista business, any help would be very gratefully appreciated!!
