Desktop freezes and no internet connection. Help?

Hi there, I'm hoping someone can be of help - I'm at a loss of what to do.

Yesterday I was hit with some Malware - after a couple of scans I cleared it out (scans now show completely clean) and then restarted my computer to apply the changes. At first, after I'd log in the Welcome screen would take longer than it normally would to load, then it would boot to a black screen with a cursor only. Now when I restart it my desktop will load, but the cursor will be frozen in loading mode so I can't click on anything. I've had it go to white screen and a security/error message pop up, but all that does is take me to a black screen.

I can get my computer to start in safe mode, but I can't connect to the internet. I get a "Connection status: unknown The dependency service or group failed to start" message. Yet all other devices can connect to the wifi seamlessly, so I'm assuming the problem lies with my computer.

I've tried to launch a system restore, but I get a message saying no restore points have been created, and I can't seem to add one. I also can't get DaRT to work.

I have no clue what to do to fix this, if anyone has any insights I would be happy to hear them. Thank you.
