Deleted folders, Re-appear after deletion?

Hi all, i have some folders I created on my desktop (so i could transfer pics,vids, mp3s from an external drive) Now i do not wish for them to be there so i delete them and about 5secs or so they appear again? why is this?

Try to right click on the folder, properties, target. Perhaps if you delete the target, you may be able to delete the folder.

yeh ive tryd that, i even downloaded revo uninstaller pro, and did the delete forever option, and they still came back. this is really giving me the ****s

Did you try ccleaner? When you transferred was it from XP?

nah ive used c cleaner b4 but ill give it another try, no i bought the laptop with vista home premium installed

Check to see if you have ownership and permission. Right click, properties, security. Check for permission and then go to advanced>owner

yeh i do have all that and it says i have full control

I think that this will work. If not try in safe mode.

Read this carefully, especailly the part about the adminisrator account.
