I'm a new Vista user. My pc is an HP Pavilion 6500t - 64 bit system. Wireless Logitech wave keyboard and wireless Logitech mouse.
The problem: I will take some action -- say, open or close a program, file or document. When I go to take the next action -- say, OPEN or select a file, document or program, the "click" area of the item I want to access isn't "active." In other words, I double click the item....but nothing happens. The cursor moves, but the system doesn't respond when an item is clicked. It is as if the operating system is too busy finishing up the previous action (closing a file, for example)...and the delay results from the operating system having to "catch up" with me.
Trust me -- I'm not being impatient...I will have to wait up to 15 seconds for the item to be clicked to become "active" -- i.e. click-able.
Is this a Vista thing or a hardware issue?? THANKS!
