Well, i did a search on google and a lot of answers came about. There were a lot of opinions but i'd like to know what you think?

My case is not good at all and i only have 1 fan ( is that what you call it? ). It's located at the back.

So, i'd like to know what is best for me? Leave it open or close?
Hazard wise, i doubt there would be any issue since i don't have any pets and my son is 6 so he knows what not to do. I also read somwhere that dust would build up a lot quicker with the case open but i guess if it means the longevity of my CPU would be better, i could deal with it. :p

Easy. I don't know how to.

Well, i could do a little research and try them out someday since the fans are real cheap. Maybe i would. Hmmm..

But the main question is if it's best to leave it open or close. And your vote is for it to close. But i somehow feel like it's 'cooler' to open it. Maybe that's just me.

Well, anyways, isn't this a little too hot or it's reasonable?

Hello Dj SharK.

If that is the hottest the CPU ever gets, (60c is ok) then you have nothing to be concerned with; it would be better to leave the case together, sometime if the air flow inside the case is disturbed it'll make the inside hotter.

Thank you for your reply BFK.

And i'd have to say, yes, that's the hottest my CPU gets. And the image above was taken earlier and my PC has been turned on for the last 11 hours. So i guess i'm in the safe zone. I do clean out the dust often though. ;)
