Hi Eknirb,

Do you have a 3rd party program like CCLeaner installed that has the option to clear cookies when you run it?

Sometimes, not often, a cookie is set to expire and will clear itself.

Hope this helps,
Shawn

Hi Eknirb,

Does the zillion IE windows thing happen at the same website all the time? I had this same thing happen, but it was just for one particular web site. The site didn't load as there was a security warning. Apparently it just kept trying over and over, always in a new window. Only way I could stop it was to unplug the connection. Only happened at that one site (don't remember which one). Wasn't a big deal to me so I just stopped going there.

I don't know there's a consistancy to the site opening. I will see if I can detect a pattern, tho.
