Constant Reboot

Hey all,

I'm not sure exactly where to post, but I been getting constant reboot after bringing my system out of suspend/hibernate or power saver mode. It just reboots like its about to post, but then goes back down. It does this over 'n over until I cut the power and kill the PSU. I did have my system OC'ed, but at the moment I'm currently running at default settings.

Has anyone exp this before? Or does anyone know if this is a hardware related issue?

It may be an issue with your BIOS settings... Did you manually put them back to default or did you reset the CMOS?

Do you have SP1 installed?

Yes I do.

Then you don't have option to install any hotfix from microsoft.
Uncheck "automatically restart" under system failure.
dual-boot-windows-xp-and-vista-11.jpg

Path: system properties > advanced system settings > advanced (TAB) > click "settings" button under "startup and recovery > and uncheck "automatically restart".

this time if it restarts automatically, you should get an error code/message on a bluescreen.

let me know the error code.

if it restarts constantly then press F8 and select "disable automatic restart" (as sson computer starts) and get the error code/message and let me know.
