Forgive me for not posting a basic vista question.
At what temperature is it okay to store your computer. I plan on having it unplugged and other its just going to be the hardrive. It's suppose to be down to 30 degrees tomorrow..and i need to know if it is safe to keep it in that kind of temp.
Also placing monitor to.
Personal reasons so please don't ask. Thanks in advance for the imput.

I would keep it some place in the high 40s. You will want to warm it up for a day before using it. You can get humidity issues. I would put it where its much warmer.

I would backup your data before storing it. Package it in plastic bag in a heavy box. When you bring it out to use. Leave it in the box in the room for 24-48 hours before opening the box. Then, open it and allow it to acclimatize for 8 more hours before plugging it in. The cold can cause older solder joints to fail. I have seen computers fail after sub freezing temp storage. Backup your data.
