I'm having problems restoring computer from sleep or hibernate mode, what happens is that i'm either left wit ha black screen- monitor in standby mode, mouse off, keyboard light on but unresponsive, or the system is resuming, gets stuck and restarts and takes me to the restore image screen that says the existing restore image is corrupted and has me choose if i want to try again or delete the image and boot fresh.
i think it might be an issue that i installed vista on my pcie ssd.
this is a new install, i was having alot of problems with vista but had too much to loose to reformat so i installed my ocz revodrive 3 x2 ssd and installed new vista ultimate on it. so far it's been blazing fast and trouble free, until yesterday when it won't restore from sleep anymore. i tried hibernate and sleep again today but no luck.
a long time ago i used my pcie ssd as a storage drive for testing purposes and it caused problems restoring from sleep, so i took it off the system. now it's the primary drive, i can't take it off the system.
how do i fix this? not being able to sleep causes alot of problems for me. either i have to leave it on all the time and face a huge electric bill or i need to take alot of inconvenience to have everything shut down and start fresh each time. adding to the annoyance, my keyboard, a ibm model m won't respond unless is unplug and replug after system start up and it's really annoying. that's another issue i'd like solved but cannot solve.
please help and thanks in advance.
