Computer Start up Problem

I have Windows Vista Home Premium on my computer and lately when I go to start my computer it won't start up. I have to shut my computer off and restart then a message comes up that I failed to shut down properly and it does a system check and a system restore and then it starts okay. After I can sometimes turn it on and off a time or two okay and the same thing will happen again. any suggestions on how to correct this problem?

Could you post a HiJackThis please, I had that exact problem back in XP and the problem was a nasty Spyware file.
