Hi forum,
I am just wondering if I have any Security conflicts on my WinHomeVista (64bit) system. I believe it is unwise to run extra Security suites.
I am presently using Malwarebytes, Microsoft Security Essentials with the built-in Windows Firewall. I cancelled Windows Defender. Is this a case of "overkill" or is it alright ?
What puzzles me is that MSE icon in the Taskbar Notification area often appears red when the PC is turned on. I often have to right click it and turn it on. Any views ?

If you aren't using Malwarebytes as a Real time Protection Antivirus then that is fine and is the same Setup as me

Windows Defender is turned off automatically when you install Microsoft Security Essentials

In addition to the above, if there should be (but should not be) conflicts, just post. I will tell you how to exclude Malwarebytes from the MSE checking process.
