CoD5 Loading Problem

At first, CoD:WaW started up properly when clicking the desktop icon. But over time, it has started to take longer to load the game. I play multiplayer all the time if that has anything to do with it. But it has been taking 5 or so minutes before I get to the menu screen?

What could be causing this?

Thank you guys in advance.

1)Reinstall it, i had the same issue - Worked fine for me (Make sure to save your profile/saved game)
2)Possibly defrag?

I defrag quite often. And I just uninstalled it and will reinstall after another defrag, but I've done this before and it did not work. Any other possibilities?

Well your system looks more than powerful to run COD, you could:

1)remove processes or temporarily stop processes you may not need to e.g. Applemobiledevices
2) Set COD, to max priority to "Real time" or set affinity.

Hopefully this should help by allowing more process power toward the application. Although this should not be a problem since you already have a powerful CPU and enough RAM.
