Solved Checkmarks on Desktop Icons?

just today i noticed that files (not shortcuts or folders) on my desktop have a checkmark or an exclamation on them. i havent installed any new software. what could this be?!?!?

Hello Crashnet,

I believe this is from some 3rd party program (ex: Mozey internet backup) that you have installed. There should be an option in that program to disable these icon markers.
